React Job: Senior Front End Developer

Medical Web Experts is a leading provider of mobile apps, custom programming, and website design for the healthcare industry. We are currently expanding our development team and seeking a Front End Developer to join us!

As a Front End Developer, you will collaborate with our technical leads, designers, and other developers to build a best-in-class experience for our customers. You will be expected to:

• Have a clear understanding of the scope of the projects and identify potential risks, if something isn't clear or is against development best practices.
• Transcend the traditional boundaries of the front end, designing and delivering performant, maintainable, and scalable features and services
• Take ownership of your and your team's code quality. Writing tests is your second nature and you have a broad understanding of testing techniques
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems for our customers
• Be open to learning new technology languages and new features

What we are looking for:

• Very good knowledge of React JS, ES6, State Management, Functional JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, and CSS-in-JS such as Emotion.
• In-depth understanding of React Hooks, Context, Routers, and composition
• Experience developing mobile applications is a plus, using Ionic (ReactJS) or React Native
• Experience developing static sites using GastbyJS and WordPress as CMS (headless)
• Familiarity with unit testing, end-to-end testing, using Cypress/Selenium/Jest, or similar
• Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub/Bitbucket
• Knowledge of cloud-based and DevOps technologies and tools (AWS, Docker, etc)
• Upper intermediate/Advanced English level
